AUDIENCE COMMENTS

"Terrific show. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Well worth seeing." ~Pauline, Vancouver

"What a truly amazing production. Once again I was floored by Nicola Cavendish. I am looking forward to the next production." ~Caprice, West Vancouver

"AWESOME...2hrs straight of laughter. I brought my girlfriend, both 21 years of age, and had so much fun! It's fun for all ages =)" ~Harry

"We loved the performance! Everything was very well done and completely enjoyable! The whole cast was superb! Nothing can take away from the sinful sly smile that Nicole Cavendish uses to lure us in to the cinema and live theatre! She is a complete professional and so believable in all her roles! Great theatre for Vancouver. Keep it coming! We attend Theatre in New York on Broadway every May and I have to say you equal all performances in Vancouver" ~Betty, Vancouver

"I went to see Nicola Cavendish...and as usual, her performance made the play. I really enjoyed it!" ~Janna, Surrey

"My son and I loved the show. Nicola Cavendish was terrific in this part and the other actors were also very talented. Loved the sets and the music. Nicola has a
great voice. She should do more musicals!" ~Sue, North Vancouver

"We were a party of four and we all agreed that it is a superb show. The acting of Nicole is incredible - how she accomplished those operatic arias is unbelievable. She was also supported by a great cast, particularly but not exclusively, by Jonathan Munro whose piano accompaniment provided the right touch of authenticity. We would highly recommend it." ~George, West Vancouver

"We loved it! A small cast with exceptional talent and flair. Nicola Cavendish’s presence on stage is delightful and heart-warming. Her portrayal of Florence Foster Jenkins is truly memorable. First class sets and costumes too. Great production Stanley Theatre." ~Marion, Richmond

"Warning!! Do not consume any of those drinks they offer you in the lobby before this show—you will not be able to hold them!! I would pay money to watch Nicola read the phone book or now, SING the phone book!! What a delightful—glorious—evening. Thank you Nicola for another wonderful performance." ~Sue, North Vancouver

"What a wonderful production! I lost my voice just from laughing and screaming - all of the characters were perfectly cast. I have told all my friends and family they can't afford to miss Glorious. The time frame and music was just when I was in pre-teens and I can remember playing Galla Curci and Lily Pons' recordings. I plan to attend another performance soon." ~Eunice, Abbotsford

"It was a delightfully funny play. We really got to love Florence. Many thanks to Nicola Cavendish and the rest of the cast for such an enjoyable evening." ~Claire, Kamloops

"It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! I am a singer so I found it particularly enlightening :-) It is really hard to sing badly when you can sing well, and we are 'taught' to sing well so Nicola did extremely well - she threw me a carnation and I still have it in a vase on my kitchen table, it was a glorious night and I have told my friends about it, so hopefully you will get more people coming to see it. I came with my 25 yr old and my 13 yr old sons and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you."
~Jane, Vancouver

"Fantastic and Hilarious. We laughed so hard we were crying. The cast were wonderfully suited for the characters, and we enjoyed every moment." ~Yvonne, Port Coquitlam

"Glorious! is a wonderful romp through the life a woman who was one of the great footnotes to North American musical history. Nicola Cavendish is beyond wonderful as the eccentric Florence Foster Jenkins, wealthy, musically ambitious and woefully untalented. Jenkin's lack of talent never stopped her from pursuing her dreams and negative criticism never slowed her down. A lesson for all of us! Cavendish is just delicious and believably eccentric. While all the cast was wonderful Jonathon Monro stood out as the handsome accompanist to Florence's musical misadventures." ~Ed, Westbank, BC
