FLYING BLIND
An Acrobatic Comedy Premiere by the Flying Blind Collective
October 26 – November 24, 2001
High Energy Physical Theatre Without a Net!
Directed by Roy Surette

Beaudoin, Colin Heath, Veronica Neave, Carl Polke, Brendan Shelper, Wayne
Specht, and Roy Surette.
Following in the madcap footsteps of The Number 14 and other great
pieces of physical theatre, Flying Blind soared as the opening
production of the 2001-2002 Granville Island Stage Series. The
quad-production with Axis Theatre, the Belfry Theatre, and the renowned,
Australian acrobatic company Legs on the Wall Theatre thrilled audiences
with its high-flying antics.
The Georgia Straight wrote, “Flying Blind is so original that it deserves our sustained and grateful applause,” while The Vancouver Sun deemed Flying Blind a “worthy successor to the mimed lunacy of The Number 14.” Vancouver audiences clearly agreed, since “audible ‘wows’ were heard from the audience more than once during Flying Blind.” (The Westender).
Best wishes to the Flying Blind Collective as they prepare to bring the show “Down Under” in the spring of 2002.
“The physical prowess of every performer in Flying Blind is enough to leave you speechless.” – The Westender
