MY FAIR LADY
Lerner and Loewe’s Most Beloved Musical

Adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion

November 16, 2001 – January 13, 2002

The most “loverly” musical ever written

Book and lyrics by Alan Lerner
Music by Frederick Loewe
Directed by Bill Millerd
Musical Direction by Bruce Kellett

"The three hours just flew by, and the smiles on the faces of the audience as they left the theatre were stark evidence of time and money well spent." ~ The Westender

In fact, My Fair Lady put smiles on the faces of over 33,000 guests on its way to becoming one of the most successful shows in Arts Club history. With the biggest cast and production budget ever for an Arts Club show, this critically-acclaimed mounting of My Fair Lady played to over 40 sold-out houses. It helped boost season attendance at the historic Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage 38% over the same time last year.

Vancouver audiences were treated to the world's first live-theatre sing-a-long performance of My Fair Lady on January 6 (complete with lyric sheets and song leaders), and sang to favorites such as With a Little Bit of Luck, The Rain in Spain, I Could Have Danced All Night, and On the Street Where You Live.
