“WHAT GOOD IS SITTING ALONE IN YOUR ROOM? COME HEAR THE MUSIC PLAY.” ~
SALLY BOWLES
Deliciously gaudy and sinfully bawdy, willkommen to the Kit Kat
Club—a brassy and carefree world that is doomed to crumble. Set in Berlin
in the early 1930s, Sally Bowles blindly performs in the smoky spotlight,
unaware that people’s lives are about to be changed forever with the rise
of the Nazi regime. Featuring the bold showstoppers Willkommen, The
Money Song, and the title song, Cabaret will transport you back
to a time when the gin was dry and the emcees slithered in the night.
Cabaret captured the Tony Award for best musical in 1966, then went
on to win best revival in 1998. The 1972 film version won eight Academy
Awards.
“John Mann…keeps the sleaze flowing”—Peter Birnie, The Vancouver Sun
