EDUCATIONAL SUBSIDY
The Arts Club Theatre Company’s educational subsidies provide young people the opportunity to expand their thinking and inspire them to explore another world of communication. Since 1999, the Arts Club, with the generous support of our sponsors, has helped schools defray the cost of attending our performances, enabling more students to experience the excitement of live theatre. The Arts Club educational subsidy covers a portion of the already low Student Matinee ticket price. A written request demonstrating your school’s necessity for the subsidy is required for consideration of financial support. Qualification for the subsidy will be based on financial need and educational relevance of a particular production or live-theatre experience on the whole. Particular consideration will be given to schools that have not had the opportunity to attend an Arts Club performance or have not previously been awarded a subsidy. Please include a copy of your order form along with the following information in your written request:
- Have your classes been a previous recipient of an educational subsidy?
- Did you bring a class to an Arts Club production during the 2006/2007 season?
- If not, when was the last time you brought a class to an Arts Club production?
You are welcome to fax any other information that you consider pertinent to our decision-making process. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited funding is available —apply early!
