ABOUT THE ART AUCTION
The Arts Club Theatre Company is pleased to present the Stanley Art Auction.
As you may know the Arts Club Theatre Company is a non-profit registered charity. Ticket sales account for only 53% of our operating budget, challenging us to raise the remainder through a variety of creative means. The Stanley Art Auction has been a wonderful way to profile local artists while at the same time raising funds for the theatre you love.
If you have not already done so, we invite you read the artist bios and make a bid on your favourite piece. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds benefit the Arts Club Theatre and twenty-five percent will go to the artist. Note that online bids placed over the weekend will not appear until the following Monday.

Artists - Have your work discovered at The Stanley Industrial Alliance Theatre!
Six times a year, during productions at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, the Arts Club Theatre Company holds silent art auction fundraisers.
We are inviting submissions of artists’ work for display and auction.
Selected artists will have their work viewed by over 18,000 patrons, making this a great opportunity to gain exposure, develop new patrons and earn some revenue. While attending the show, patrons will have the opportunity to bid on the artwork selected.
Artists will receive 25% of the final bid for their piece and a charitable tax receipt for the remaining
75%. (Bidding starts at approximately 30% of the value determined by the Arts Club and artist)
Proceeds from the silent auction benefit the Arts Club Theatre Company, a not-for-profit charitable organization, committed to staging and developing stimulating, quality theatre for the enrichment of the community.
Details – Open to all artists including those not represented by any commercial agent or gallery. Students welcome.
All submissions will be judged for suitability. Artists must be comfortable having their work displayed in a public theatre venue. We are seeking a variety of two-dimensional artwork, in various media, of a conservative subject matter, ranging in size from 8”x 10” to 50” x 50” (it must be able to hang on a wall). Please submit a photograph of your finished piece of work, a description of the piece including its size and value (maximum 50 words), and an artist bio (maximum 50 words).
