AUDIENCE COMMENTS
"I first saw this play just after its opening at the National Theatre in London. Alan Bennett is one of the best writers of this century. Unfortunately the film version of The History Boys did not do it justice. However, The Arts Club production is magnificently done. The production values are great. The boys 'get it' right; the two other teachers are perfect in their counterpoints to the complex themes; the Headmaster .. so well played by Duncan Fraser and Bernard Cuffling is superb. Vancouver is very lucky that it has an Arts Club Company that can reach these heights in this and other productions that it has recently mounted. Congratulations from a seasoned theatregoer (and former professional in that field). Bravo!" ~Michael, Vancouver
