On behalf of the artists, the Board, and the staff of the Arts Club Theatre Company, we want to thank you for your interest in becoming a Friend. The financial support we receive from people like you—no matter the amount— significantly effects our ability to stage plays that are exciting, engaging, and inspiring to our audience. Why do we need to raise money? As a not-for-profit charity, the Arts Club must raise additional funds beyond our ticket sales, as we only generate about 50% of our operating revenue from subscription and single ticket sales. Increasing the quality of our productions requires additional resources.

Your contribution also supports the many Arts Club community programs we operate, including Student Matinees, the Understudy Program, and Student Rush. This is why we ask you to join us as a Friend of the Arts Club. Your tax-deductible contribution of $75, $100, $200 or more will help us with our community programs and ensure that we continue to bring you quality work on our stages. Please review the enclosed information to learn how you, too, will benefit from supporting the Arts Club.

Thank you for considering a gift. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre!

Our Future

We know what we are, but we know not what we may be.

—WM. Shakespeare, Hamlet

With the financial support of our Friends our potential is limitless. Our ability to premiere new work, stage enchanting musicals and intelligent dramas, and extend our artistic and business leadership further into the community is directly tied to the passion of our artistic spirit and the strength of our financial resources.

What our Friends say:

“If everybody can give their part—even a small contribution helps—then the Arts Club would be so much freer to pursue their artistic dreams.”
—Kathryn McNeight, friend since 2000

“I give what I can—$75—as a gesture of support and appreciation for all the Arts Club does for me and for the city of Vancouver. I hope others will join me in making a gift in support of this important and dynamic theatre company.”
—T. Thomas, friend since 2006
