Corporate Partnership
Welcome to the Arts Club Theatre Company. As one of Canada’s largest and most successful theatre operations, we have a strong connection to corporate Canada and the business leaders who recognize the value of partnering with the arts
The Arts Club is a not-for-profit charitable organization that produces live theatre playing to over 200,000 audience members annually in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and throughout British Columbia. We recognize that we have a responsibility to our stakeholders to manage our affairs in a responsible business-like manner. Our audience is your audience: knowledgeable, affluent, discerning, and loyal—they stayed with us as we grew from our modest beginnings on Seymour Street to our current Granville Island Stage and Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage. They value the Arts Club and the companies that support us.
Urban planners recognize the value of a thriving arts scene in attracting and retaining talented professionals to a city. Vancouver is vibrant and dynamic because of all the amenities it has to offer, and the Arts Club is a significant contributor to this cultural
landscape. Community leaders also value the Arts Club as a significant contributor to the local economies both in the Vancouver area and on tour in the lower mainland and throughout the province. Educators acknowledge the importance of the arts in stimulating the positive, creative energy of our youth. By partnering with us as sponsor of a play or a youth program, your company will be recognized as a civic leader that values the role the arts plays in enhancing our quality of life.
Join us as corporate partner and as a corporate citizen. Together, we can accomplish great things in the name of art, commerce, and community.
See you in the theatre!

What our partners say:
Corporate Sponsorship of the Arts Club provincial tour has been a very good fit for Investors Group. We are particularly proud to be helping the Arts Club bring live theatre to smaller communities where professional theatre is less accessible. As a company with offices across the province, this sponsorship allows Investors Group to spread our support of the arts into these communities toured by the Arts Club. With the Arts Club’s tradition of quality, it is an association that we have been proud of for over six years.
Peter Bent, Marketing Manager, Alberta & BC
Investors Group
We like that the Arts club is a non-profit community organization promoting local talent, a good variety of plays, especially the family-oriented plays at the Stanley during the holidays. We bring 80–100 people to the Arts Club. This event really promotes company morale. Our staff and their spouses really enjoy an evening out at the Arts Club.

Most of the company’s subscribers fall into a very attractive demographic—they are over 35, university educated, and in a high-income bracket. This, coupled with a unique product in the Vancouver marketplace, has resulted in big increases in corporate sponsorship in recent years.
BC Business
Over the years, [Bill] Millerd has been lionized as the granddaddy of live theatre in Vancouver, the man who took a timid audience and a small talent pool of young unknowns and helped the former grow into voracious theatergoers, the latter into shining international stars such as Brent Carver, Michael J. Fox and Jeff Hyslop, to name just a few of his early protégés.
