ARRIVING AT THE THEATRE
Please arrive at the theatre 45 minutes before curtain to collect and distribute tickets. Please ensure chaperones arrive before or with the students. Buses may unload passengers in the loading zone in front of the theatres.
THEATRE ETIQUETTE
In order to ensure an enjoyable theatre experience for all audience members, please impart some general theatre etiquette to students.
- No outside food or drink is allowed in the lobby or theatre.
- It is important to turn off cellular phones, pagers, and wristwatch alarms for the duration of the show.
- The use of cameras, camera phones, or any type of recording device is strictly prohibited.
- Please refrain from text messaging and using cellular phones to check the time during the show. In a dark theatre phone displays are very bright.
- Seating is assigned. Please sit in your assigned seat and respect the fact that other seats have been reserved for other patrons.
- We ask that chaperones sit evenly among their group to ensure appropriate supervision.
- Please finish refreshments purchased at the concession in the lobby before entering the theatre.
- Please refrain from eating or unwrapping candy in the theatre.
- Please respect your fellow audience members and the actors by refraining from talking during the performance. Even whispers carry.
- If you must leave the theatre during the performance, you will not be reseated until the intermission or another appropriate interval.
If you have concerns about another guest, please tell one of our Front of House staff rather than approaching the person yourself. We will be happy to address concerns on your behalf.
LENGTH OF SHOW
The actual running time of each play will be available approximately one week prior to the opening of a show.
Our shows can run as long as two hours, including intermission, and usually do not last under one hour.
